I sent word home to my mom and friends to gather old toys and
send them in time for Xmas. Just before Xmas four large boxes arrived, I had enough toys for the kids in Dam Doi and for the
children at the Catholic orphanage in Ca Mao. Xmas 69 was the best Xmas I have ever had. I gave a 2 or 3 year old boy a small
pink rubber ball and he clung to my leg for the rest of the time I was a the orphanage. One of the nun's gave me a gift of
two tropical fighting fish.
